NAVY
She peed on her dolly,
Didn’t realize the folly;
It was all just a part of her game.
I cleaned up the mess,
And got her redressed;
Everyday is somehow the same.
I pick food for a lunch,
Pray that she’ll munch,
As she pushes the food far away.
She screams in reaction,
Though it’s just a fraction,
Of the volume of prior days.
She gabs in her speech,
Some terms out of reach,
As I listen and hang to her words.
She sings and she claps,
She dances and taps,
She thinks she’s a cat - she just purred.
Stripped down to her hiney,
(Clothes makes her whiney)
Dressing her ends in defeat.
She’s hard and she pushes,
And smashes and smooshes,
But being her Mom is a treat!
