What I'm about to tell you,
You won't believe, of course.
The one who lays those eggs?
Is actually ... a horse!

The Easter Horse you'll call him,
But he prefers "Pampoon".
He's not pastel like one might think;
He is in fact, maroon.

And he, yes HE, he lays those eggs.
It's actually quite funny!
 (Though it's not quite as cute, per se,
As imagining a bunny!)

So now you know the truth:
Pampoon - The Easter Pony.

Cause the bunny ... he's a phony!

Ohhhh, Pampoon. Isn't he sweet? Hard to imagine why he didn't "catch on" like the Easter Bunny ... Right?
